Percentage shortcuts
- 10%: move the point one place. 5%: half of 10%.
- 15%: 10% plus 5%. 15% of 80 = 8 + 4 = 12.
- 25%: divide by 4. 75%: 25% times 3.
- Swap it round: 8% of 50 is the same as 50% of 8, which is 4.
