11 times table: trick and speed drill
Times 10, add one more lot. Then put it to work with a free 60-second drill.
The trick for the 11 times table
Times 10, add one more lot. 11 × n = 10 × n + n. For two-digit numbers, add the digits and put the total in the middle: 11 × 36, 3 + 6 = 9, so 396.
- 11 × 42 = 462
- 11 × 58: 5 + 8 = 13, carry the 1, so 638
- 11 × 12 = 132
How the drill works
You get 60 seconds of 11 times table questions in both directions: multiplication like 11 × 7 and division like 77 ÷ 11. Type the answer and it is accepted the moment it is right. Your scores, best and slowest facts are saved on your device, so you can see the table getting quicker.

Questions people ask
What is the fastest way to learn the 11 times table?

How do I check a 11 times table answer quickly?
Estimate first: round the other number to the nearest 10 and multiply. If your answer is far from the estimate, recheck it.
Is the 11 times table tested in trading interviews?
Trading firm arithmetic tests use mixed questions rather than one table, but fast table facts are what make the bigger sums quick.
