Times tables speed test
Sixty seconds of mixed tables from 2 to 12. Then drill the ones that slow you down.
Practise one table at a time
Each page has the quickest trick for that table, worked examples, the full table to 12 and its own 60-second drill.
How the mixed test works
The mixed test gives you 60 seconds of random questions from the 2 to 12 times tables, like 7 × 8 or 12 × 9. Every score is saved on your device, with your slowest tables ranked so you know what to practise next.
Also called a times tables quiz, multiplication tables test, or quick-fire tables challenge.
Questions people ask
What is a good score on a 60-second times tables test?
There is no official benchmark. Use your own first score as a baseline: the aim is to beat it, and the graph on your results page shows whether you are.
Which times table is the hardest?
For most people it is the 7, 8 and 12 times tables. Your weak spots list shows which ones are slowest for you.
Do I need times tables beyond 12?
Tables up to 20 help with bigger mental sums, which is why trading and quant applicants often practise them.
