How to multiply faster in your head
- Split the bigger number. 7 × 86 = 560 + 42 = 602.
- ×5: times 10, then halve. ×9: times 10, take one lot away.
- ×11: times 10, add one lot. ×12: times 10 plus times 2.
How the drill works
Each question is a number from 2 to 12 times a number from 2 to 100. Your results page builds a heatmap of every table against the size of the other number, so you can see exactly where you lose time.
