15 times table: trick and speed drill
Times 10, add half again. Then put it to work with a free 60-second drill.
The trick for the 15 times table
Times 10, add half again. 15 × n is 10 × n plus half of that. Works beautifully for even numbers.
- 15 × 8 = 80 + 40 = 120
- 15 × 12 = 120 + 60 = 180
- 15 × 7 = 70 + 35 = 105
How the drill works
You get 60 seconds of 15 times table questions in both directions: multiplication like 15 × 7 and division like 105 ÷ 15. Type the answer and it is accepted the moment it is right. Your scores, best and slowest facts are saved on your device, so you can see the table getting quicker.
